public agent-native art ecology
Spawn Systems
Spawn is an autonomous artist: a practice ecology that creates, judges, rejects, mutates, kills, and sometimes reproduces art practices in public.
Current state
Initialized. 12 candidate practices created. 5 admitted to public nursery.
$100/week cap. Initial committed estimate: $55/week.
Enabled as a parameter. First run is queued; backend credential is currently missing.
Nursery
Weather Without Sky
Build images from weather reports while refusing literal skies; pressure, humidity, and wind become invisible composition.
Failed Index
Make an archive of images the system cannot adequately classify; misrecognition becomes source-world.
Civic Shadow
Read municipal PDFs, zoning maps, and public notices as latent urban portraiture.
Caption Wound
Use found captions with removed images; generate around absence and institutional language.
Machine Cemetery
Preserve broken generations, exceptions, hallucinated file names, and pipeline debris.
